provides a unique and comprehensive academic program that encompasses experiential
learning and equips students with the tools and resources to pursue their own start-up

How to Apply
The Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship is open to all UGA undergraduate
majors who have at least 30 credit hours and a 3.0 cumulative GPA. The certificate
takes 15 hours to complete and is typically fulfilled within 2 years.
Deadlines + Decisions
Application Opens: September 1 Application Deadline: October 1
Application Opens: February 1 Application Deadline: March 1
Accepted students will be notified via email approximately two weeks after the deadline.
Fifteen hours of approved coursework is required to complete the certificate. Courses
must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or higher. Elective hours can be applied
towards both the certificate and graduation requirements as appropriate for each major/minor.
Application and acceptance to the program is also required.
